「SPICE」will be our next theme for our new Social Apartment opening in Kamikitazawa

Joining our list of exclusive Social Apartments October 2021, 「Neighbors Kami-kitazawa」 is a 50-room property located in the peaceful suburb of Kamikitazawa.

Shinjuku station is a direct 13-minute train ride away from Kami-kitazawa station. Trendy suburbs like Shimokitazawa, as well as Shibuya – the city that never sleeps – is within a 15-minute access. Other stations like Ikebukuro, Roppongi and Ebisu are also within 30-minutes commute. Easy access to the big city without suffocating you with the big city life, the peaceful charm of Kamikitazawa offers a calming lifestyle only Setagaya Ward residents know.

The property is located only a 2-minute walk from the station, not getting on the train in time is no longer an excuse at Neighbors Kami-kitazawa. Enjoy the local cafes, restaurants, bakeries and more within the near surrounding of the station. Large supermarkets, drug stores and vegetable shops are also a quick stroll away from the property. The kitchen area is often where most of the socialization happens, and this is why all of our Social Apartments are equipped with spacious kitchen systems. This time however, we’re adding some spice to the kitchen area with a big theme change with a lounge to accentuate it.

Eating is a large part of all human lives. Our time spent eating takes up a big portion of our day, and it’s one activity that we all have to partake in. Food is something that brings people together, and this time at Social Apartment we’ve imagined a space that creates a special atmosphere for sharing the joys of eating together.

The theme for this property will be 「Spice」. Spice accentuates foods with vibrant flavors, aromas and tastes. A pinch of the right spice can really make a dish. Living at a Social Apartment, you’ll naturally add the spice of socialization to your life. By mixing yourself in a community of people of different flavors and character, you’ll be creating a unique melting pot of a community.

We’ve prepared extra kitchen appliances this time, with items such as Vitamix and Kitchen Aid being added to the mix to help you with the making of specialized dishes. Providing you with items that you wouldn’t usually purchase while living alone. To make sure the kitchen is a place of excitement for all, we’ve equipped the area with only the best kitchen appliances for both beginners and expert cooks.

The large entrance and courtyard will have herbs and spices that can be naturally cultivated. Pick up some fresh herbs for an afternoon tea, or change up your meals with a handful of spices picked from the courtyard of your own home.

3 separate individual work booths for online meetings, calls, and any type of business that requires privacy and quiet.
Maintain privacy with your online meetings by utilizing our semi-soundproof meeting booths.

The property is still very new, having been built from scratch in 2016, and is being renovated to open as a Social Apartment October 2021.

Adding our own spice to the already new property with a bit of Social Apartment flare, Neighbors Kami-kitazawa will introduce a new normality with what it means to live at a co-living establishiment.
