We are excited to announce our most anticipated addition to that list, with our next new property to be in nowhere other than Shibuya, Tokyo.

Home to many exclusive fashion brands, department stores, and where many of the largest companies hold their headquarters, this suburb combines the two opposing sides of Japan, the artistic and corporate, to create the Tokyo you expect from movies and film.

Shibuya is known as a lively city that almost never sleeps, but what if we told you a few minutes’ walk from central Shibuya you will find a much quieter and more tranquil neighborhood?

「Oku-Shibuya」is a residential area 10-minutes’ walk north-west from Shibuya station. An area that is not dense with shoppers or tourists. The neighborhood is very homely and a huge contrast from the energetic reputation Shibuya is known for. This area is where our new Social Apartment calls home, a residential neighborhood with hip cafes, eye catching bookstores, old barbershops, and tasty eateries all within a minute proximity to the house.

The neighborhood gives a retro-feel unlike what Shibuya is known for. Tenants at 「Neighbors Shibuya Kamiyamacho」have the freedom to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of a residential neighborhood, as well as the bustling city life just 5-minutes’ walk from the property. Walk north from the house for 3-minutes’ and you will be standing in Yoyogi Park, an afternoon stroll to the park at your whim is an envying thought most people only dream of.

You have access to 4 stations close by. Shibuya Stn (10mins), Yoyogi-Koen Stn (8mins) and Yoyogi-Hachiman Stn (8mins), giving you access to the rest of Tokyo with ease.

Many people go out of their way to visit Shibuya from afar, to you this is just a place you call home.

Unlike most co-living apartments in central locations, this Shibuya property offers an abundance of communal facilities. The main lounge comes with your usuals, dining tables, TV space, as well as a kitchen space with an island kitchen and bar counter.

Separate to the main lounge is the Relax Lounge, where you can make yourself comfortable on a sofa and utilize our large screen projector to Netflix and... please only Netflix.

We have also provided a working space on the first floor, where you can enjoy individual working stations to study or work in peace.

The communal facilities have been designed with the recent 2020 pandemic in mind, with many young professionals spending more and more time working flexibly at a place of their choosing. At「Neighbors Shibuya Kamiyamacho」you can freely choose your working or relaxing style not only outside of your home but inside it as well. Choose any of the communal lounges to work the way you wish to, right in the liveliest city in Japan.
