(1) What kind of residence is a social apartment?
Social apartments are rental apartments that include a lounge and other public spaces in addition to traditional rental housing. It is a new style of housing that “expands your world” and allows you to enjoy community with other residents while ensuring your privacy.
The following is an explanation of how Social Apartment actually works!
Components of a Social Apartment
Social Apartment consists of the following three major components.
Private room: You have your own room, just like in a standard rental apartment. Rooms vary from 1K layouts (a kitchen and toilet/shower attached to the room) to 1BR layouts (just a room), where you use the shared kitchen and toilets/showers areas, depending on the property, and all of them protect your privacy.
Public spaces: Public spaces are available for residents to use 24/7, without reservations. In addition to the lounge which is a typical public space, some properties offer a variety of common spaces such as a workspace where you can work easily, a theater room where you can enjoy movies and games at high power, and a studio where you can exercise.
Community: Many people live in an apartment, and having a public space where these residents can gather creates interaction among them. From casual communication such as greetings and small conversations in daily life, to eating and playing together, and sometimes participating in events organized by residents, you can enjoy a variety of interactions.
How a social apartment works
(1) Large number of rooms
The average number of rooms in a Social Apartment is about 60, and in some places there are as many as 180 people living in the apartment.
Not only do you get to interact with people from various backgrounds, but you also get to know your neighbors in a relaxed, not-too-close relationship. The atmosphere differs depending on the number of rooms.

The main attraction of a social apartment is the community. On the other hand, there are days when you want to be by yourself. All of our social apartments are designed to allow you to go to your room without going through the common area.

(3) Shared areas are managed by the management company (Global Agents)
The common areas of Social Apartment are not “tenant's property” but are managed by the management company, Global Agents. Therefore, there are some rules, such as leaving personal belongings unattended and sleeping in the lounge is prohibited.
Also, cleaning and management is not outsourced, but done by their own employees, so the space is kept clean.
